• Polished Concrete (standard) - Traditional polished concrete is created by diamond grinding the concrete surface in a number of different stages to create the desired finish. This is followed by the application of a sealer that provides a clean, dustproof, hard-wearing and aesthetically pleasing finish. This finishing highlights the natural features of the concrete.
  
  There is are a large variety of sealers available. These range from matte or low-sheen finishes thru to high gloss finishes. Sealers are also available in a number of water-based and oil-based options and also range from very thin coatings through to high build finishes. Sealers can also be applied in a number of different ways including roll-on, broom-on, mop-on and spray-on. Each customer is provided detailed information, and individual guidance is provided to help them make the best decision based on the specifics of their particular job and the result desired.
• Polished Concrete (Hiperfloor) - An alternative to standard concrete polishing, this is the very latest in Polished Concrete Technology. As opposed to traditional polished concrete that involves the application of a sealer that forms a film over the concrete surface, Hiperfloor is a process that makes use of a number of different grinding and polishing stages and, with the addition of a hardening agent we are able to actually polish the concrete. This has the effect of substantially increasing the surface abrasion resistance and wearing properties of the concrete, resulting in a very shiny and extremely hard floor that highlights all the natural features of the concrete.
  Although initially a little more expensive than traditional methods, Hiperfloor is a very cost effective and an extremely low maintenance floor over a period of time.
• Floor Sealers and Coatings - By using a variety of concrete sealers, epoxy coatings and paints, CFR are able to offer our customers an extremely diverse range of surfaces and finishes for both indoor and outdoor concrete areas.
  From a small room in your house to your driveway or outdoor entertaining area - perhaps your retail outlet in a large shopping centre or your warehouse in an industrial estate - all of these, and everywhere in between - if it is concrete floor, we can provide the result you need.
• Concrete Floor Levelling  - Levelling compounds and Repair mortars. Whether it's an old or new concrete surface we offer a number of repair options using a variety of levelling compounds and repair products.
  These can be used to :
  
  • Provide a smooth finish for the laying of tiles, carpet, vinyl, timber flooring, etc.
  • As a smooth base for the application of epoxy coatings, sealers, paints and other floor finishes.
  • Repair works on damaged and worn concrete surfaces, i.e. holes, cracks, chases, etc.
  • Building of ramps for doorways, shop entrances, etc where concrete is not suitable.
• Floor Grinding - Utilising a series of different grinding machines along with a comprehensive arrange of diamond segments we are able to offer a variety of grinding options. All grinding equipment is facilitated with dust extraction systems to minimise dust during operation.
  Grinding options include :
  
  • The removal of tile, vinyl and carpet glue.
  • Removal of epoxy or paint coatings.
  • Removal of concrete sealers.
  • To provide a smooth finish to a rough floor.
  • To prepare a floor for a surface coating, i.e. self-levelling compound, epoxy, glue, etc.

• Flooring Removal - As part of our Concrete Floor services we are able to remove existing flooring or floor coverings on a small or large scale using a number of different methods.
  Types of flooring that can be removed include :
  
  • Tiles, i.e. ceramics. marble, terrazzo.
  • Vinyl.
  • Carpet.
  • Timber flooring, i.e. parquetry.
  • Sand and cement bedding.
  • High build glues.
  • Grano screeds.
  • Levelling compounds.
  • Water-proofing membranes.
  Once existing flooring is removed we can then move onto a number of other processes such as grinding, levelling, sealing, polishing, etc, depending on the nature of the project.
